I apologize for the lack of blog updates...
I was nice and busy and oh so happy when Paul and the children arrived Sunday night and Henry left the ICU and was transferred to a regular floor on Monday night...
And then they left Wednesday night.
And Henry needed racemic epi treatments and to be on c-pap Thursday.
And I lost it.
Emotionally and physically hit bottom.
I publicly apologize to every friend and family member I called as a crying emotional wreck that day.
But the good part about reaching out (even though I did not do it in the best way) is that so many responded.
And my tank got filled up on Friday.
And I kept it together through a long weekend.
And thought I could make progress today on Monday...
But there are problems with getting a medical transport home...
We are getting a CT scan and need to have it under general anesthesia... And it got moved back from 8am to Noon...with Henry unable to eat or drink after midnight...
We don't have official orthopedic permission to leave this week either...
*sigh*
I don't have much left.
Pray us outta here soon my friends...
Carla, I'm so sorry. Poor Henry and you!!! Prayers from MN.
ReplyDeleteHugs and lots of prayers
ReplyDeleteMany prayers, my friend.
ReplyDeleteGood grief, Carla. I would be happy to lose it on your behalf, if that would help! Hope you get through this in one piece....
ReplyDeleteI'm really am sorry, Carla. You're suffering isn't going by unnoticed. I will pray--I promise.
ReplyDeleteCarla, I always try to focus on the passage, "This too shall pass", whenever the load appears to be too heavy. You have so many obstacles behind you...good things are coming! Henry will be a your happy little Christmas angel joining in the holiday fun and checking out the holiday snowflakes...just wait and see. Much love your way!

Praying for you and your family. ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteI love you honey!!!!!!!!!! Prayers coming your way!
ReplyDeleteWe are always at your side and supporting you with the love of Jesus. I can commiserate with you as I went through big problems getting out of Guatemala. Remember the blood of Jesus prevails in all situations. Don't let the cicumstance get you as our savior is always bigger and more powerful than any circumstance. Call out to Him --he is able to deliver us. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.
ReplyDeleteSO sorry for all you are going through.
ReplyDeletePrayers and hugs for you and Henry!
ReplyDeleteCarla: You are standing at the foot of the cross...There is no more sacred place.
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration to us all! Even when you hit rock bottom. So good to "RUN" into you on Saturday night. Praying without ceasing for the whole family. -Sarah Abete
